About Ovyo:
Ovyo is an professional services company specializing in the satellite, telecommunications, media, and broadcasting, transportation and many more sectors. Our management team is located in the UK and Portugal and we have technical teams based across Europe and India.
Responsibilities:
- Give fast, friendly Level 0 & 1 support for our integral banking platform (onsite or remote).
- Handle tickets: log, sort, fix, or pass on issues via ServiceNow.
- Watch alerts and jump on critical problems.
- Spot and fix recurring issues in daily jobs and live systems.
- Work with Level 2 teams and suppliers to solve tough problems.
- Track system health and flag anything going wrong.
- Talk clearly to business users – sometimes you’re the only tech voice they hear.
Requirements:
- 1–3 years in IT support or similar.
- Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent).
- Basic grasp of wholesale banking (e.G., payments, loans, trades).
- English B2+.
- Comfortable with monitoring tools and ITIL.
- Happy to be on-call and support users in different time zones.
- Desirable knowledge of Python, Elastic Search, Openshit, Appian, API Connect, Oracle, MySQL, PowerBI
