Activities
* Collaborate with Sales representatives to analyze customer payment behaviors, consumption patterns, and late payments.
* Inform Sales of credit-related issues.
* With the MD, establish credit limits and terms according to procedures.
* Analyze customer solvency
* For specific clients or large accounts, review balance sheets and P&L statements to identify potential payment risks.
* Conduct financial scoring analyses internally and externally to determine customer risk classes.
* Reminder policy
* Review DSO history by customer segment.
* Adjust reminder strategies (calls, emails, texts) based on customer type.
* Follow the collection procedures outlined in insurance contracts.
* Management of receivables
* Monitor receivables and communicate with customers regarding limits.
* Analyze disputes and default cases with the MD and sales teams.
* Collaborate with accounting to identify posting errors and negotiate guarantees when necessary.
* Contribution to Credit Committees
* Participate in weekly meetings to review overdue accounts and payment plans.
* Attend quarterly meetings to assess KPI trends.
* Prepare detailed reports for the European Credit Committee on major customers.
* Support to sales representatives
* Advise on credit management and support sales development.
* Ensure adherence to credit policies.
* Relations with external service providers
* Manage relationships with credit insurers and handle declarations of unrecoverable receivables.
* Coordinate with banks regarding liquidity and guarantees.
* Prepare litigation files in consultation with insurers.
* Monitor legal proceedings with legal counsel or litigation firms.
* Digital transformation
* Lead initiatives to digitize credit risk management processes.
* Implement automated tools for risk assessment and payment tracking.
Candidate Profile
* Hold a finance degree or equivalent (master’s in finance and economics preferred).
* At least 5 years of experience in credit analysis or related fields, including 2 in a managerial role.
* Experience in process automation for data management and risk detection.
* Strong negotiation skills and dispute resolution capabilities.
* Organized with respect for legal procedures and deadlines.
* Rigor in handling figures, analytical mindset, and high organizational skills.
* Fluent in Spanish and English; French is advantageous.
