Key Responsibilities
As an Hydraulics Engineer, you will:
* Conduct hydraulic studies to integrate stormwater management into our projects, in coordination with fountain and irrigation systems.
* Perform modeling of hydraulic flows and sizing of storage structures (basins, networks, etc.).
* Develop a comprehensive water management strategy (stormwater, irrigation, fountains), including the design and sizing of hydraulic systems.
* Ensure regulatory compliance by analyzing urban planning documents and water law files.
* Coordinate with internal design teams and external partners.
* Drive innovation by proposing sustainable solutions and contributing to the agency’s development strategy to address urban climate challenges.
Required Profile
Technical Skills
* Education: Degree in urban hydrology, water management, mechanical engineering, architecture, or a related field.
* Expertise:
* Strong understanding of the small and large water cycles.
* Experience in stormwater management, water treatment, or irrigation.
* Familiarity with project phases in design and construction management.
* Tools: Familiarity with GIS tools, drainage networks and/or BIM environments.
Soft Skills
* Teamwork: Ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary and international environment.
* Languages: Fluent in French and English (working languages of the firm) both we
* Personal Qualities: Open-minded, curious, rigorous, and eager to learn and grow.
Additional Assets
* Experience in international projects or collaboration with architecture firms.
* Passion for innovative solutions and climate-related challenges.
