PFrom Manpower we are looking for a Cost Analyst to join our client, PPG in Rubí. /ppbr/ppbPosition Overview /b /ppbr/ppThe Cost Analyst, part of the GBFS organization, is responsible for maintaining product standard costs and intercompany prices across all ERP systems within the EMEA region. The role supports cost analysis, reporting, internal controls, and audit activities, working closely with manufacturing sites and Business Finance teams. /ppbr/ppbKey Responsibilities /b /ppbr/ppbProduct Costing /b /pulliCalculate and maintain quarterly standard costs. /liliAnalyze raw materials and other cost drivers impacting product costs. /liliSupport the annual manufacturing rates upload process. /liliEnsure intercompany prices are correctly calculated and uploaded. /liliPrepare standard cost variance analyses and explanations for stakeholders. /li /ulpbr/ppbClosing, Audit SOX /b /pulliSupport plants during internal and external audits, including system-driven transactions (inventories, Magna Carta, inventory valuation). /liliSupport monthly closing activities: volumes reporting, Goods in Transit, accruals. /liliCoordinate with plants to explain major cost impacts and variances. /liliPerform SSPL reclassifications when required due to system limitations. /li /ulpbr/ppbInventory Control /b /pulliMonitor and report on SSPL and Magna Carta. /liliTrack inventory losses, analyze root causes, and assess financial impact. /liliParticipate in annual physical inventory audits. /liliProvide remote support for physical inventories at consignment warehouses. /li /ulpbr/ppbKey Stakeholders /b /pulliPlant Controllers /liliManufacturing Strategic Partners /liliBusiness Finance teams /liliAuditors /li /ulpbr/ppbRequirements /b /pulliBachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field. /liliStrong analytical and numerical skills. /liliProficiency in MS Office, especially Excel. /liliInterest in ERP and financial systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle). /liliAffinity with manufacturing and production environments. /liliHands-on, proactive, and independent working style. /liliStrong communication skills. /liliAdvanced English (written and spoken). /li /ul
