Airbus Helicopters Information Management is seeking a dynamic, skilled and motivated Network Security Engineer based in Albacete, Spain, ready to address network security challenges for the company.
Responsibilities
Manage and support all subsidiaries worldwide from a network security point of view.
Configure security devices such as firewalls, proxies, WAN accelerators, VPN, SASE, ZTNA, etc.
Manage networking and IP administration (IPAM, monitoring tools, CMDB).
Root‐cause analyze and remediate infrastructure, networking and security issues in a time‐critical environment.
Plan for future growth needs in advance.
Automate security configuration and management using Ansible and Git.
Write technical documentation for new and existing network designs, implementations, processes and tooling.
Support other applications or projects.
Skills
3–5 years of experience as a Network Security Engineer implementing and operating enterprise‐level networking and security equipment.
Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, electronics or communication engineering.
Experience with network security equipment such as Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Stormshield, Proxies and Cisco ASA firewalls.
Experience designing and building complex data‐center networks with Software‐Defined Networking (SDN) solutions such as Cisco ACI and Cisco SDA is appreciated.
Knowledge of DevOps & CI/CD tools such as Git, Ansible, Terraform.
Experience using APIs, REST and SOAP web services.
Programming and scripting experience (e.g., Python, YAML, JSON).
Understanding of IT services (Active Directory, SCCM, IAM) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Microsoft Hyper‐V).
Good understanding of monitoring and logging tools and their underlying principles.
Knowledge of cybersecurity challenges and basics of threat protection.
Knowledge of configuration management, orchestration and automation.

Fluency in English is essential (oral and written). Experience in French would be a plus.
Other Requirements
Ability to obtain national or military clearance (NATO, Secret / Très Secret). Some travel may be required to subsidiaries worldwide and to Marignane in southeast France.
The role is based in Albacete, Spain.
