Research and Development Project Manager
FOOD – Valladolid, Castilla y León, Spain.
This role will deliver R&D projects with defined quality, time and cost, and provide technical support for products currently on the market.
Responsibilities
* Lead or participate in project teams focused on developing new products or improving existing ones.
* Design development plans for research projects, defining objectives, methodologies, and timelines.
* Plan, supervise and execute internal experimental work, ensuring correct application of protocols, proper use of resources, and quality of results.
* Plan, execute and monitor studies in collaboration with external centres, ensuring technical and operational consistency.
* Apply statistical and bioinformatic tools for analysis and evidence‑based decision‑making.
* Ensure delivery of projects on time, on budget and with required quality.
* Scientifically evaluate new ideas and research proposals.
* Manage technical knowledge with internal and external experts.
* Communicate R&D project results to involved business units.
* Provide scientific and technical training internally and externally.
* Review technical documentation and resolve scientific queries.
* Participate in relevant scientific conferences, seminars and events.
About You
* Minimum 2 years' experience in R&D.
* Degree in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacy or demonstrable equivalent experience.
* Fluent English.
* Postgraduate degree in project management desirable.
