Role Summary:
The IDM Skills Training Senior Manager role is responsible for Commercial CFC Colleagues and Managers Skills Development providing CFC engagement skills training to new and existing colleagues, ensuring that CFC colleagues/managers have the skills and knowledge required to successfully represent Pfizer in the marketplace.
This role is responsible for managing and executing high-impact, multi-modal developmental activities, including training, mentoring, and coaching. These activities incorporate customer interaction and engagement strategies, the latest coaching and leadership methodologies, as well as behavioral and team effectiveness assessments and tools.
This role participates as a strategic partner, thoroughly understands the needs of different CFC roles and defines, develops and delivers skills training programs in line with today’s and future requirements and realities.
This role involves analyzing the country's needs, cultural insights, and the development processes of CFC employees to provide essential insights to regional and global teams. It also includes consistently sharing feedback with GCET & Regional Excellence Lead to support the creation of relevant content, training resources, and materials.
This role will work very closely with the IDM Skills and Leadership Excellence Lead at the regional level to create content tailored to the needs ensuring that we have the best content available on a regional level.
This role is also responsible for overseeing the onboarding process of the Training Managers. Responsible for uplifting the Training Managers' approach on capability development which includes program management, planning, delivery, facilitation, and measurement, ensuring the entire E2E process is properly managed.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES- Work locally with Country Manager( as needed), BU clients, Sales Managers as a business partner to gain a deep understanding of local business priorities and needs and how they are translating into CFC colleagues skills and capability needs.- Manage the entire CFC Engagement Skills training program, including conducting needs assessments, prioritizing initiatives, developing programs, localizing global content, creating and customizing training materials, delivering and facilitating sessions, measuring outcomes and impacts, and ensuring the sustainability of skills development. Develop plans that are based on the needs of different roles and levels.- Participate and work on specific initiatives that support CFC effectiveness that needs training support both in country and above region.- Plan, Coordinate and Deliver ad-hoc CFC Engagement skills trainings/workshops needed in line with changing priorities.- Measure, analyze and evaluate the impact of the skills programs and develop plans for continuous development.- Lead and coordinate all communications and plans with external vendors and assess and measure the effectiveness and impact to ensure they meet business needs and global training standards.- Collaborate closely with the IDM Skills and Leadership Excellence Lead to optimize the use of general content and resources. This includes reviewing existing contents, overseeing the localization process, and creating new materials as necessary.- Additionally, work with the IDM Skills and Leadership Excellence Lead at the regional level to develop content tailored to specific needs, ensuring that the most suitable content is available regionally.- Participate in the formulation of the local/regional Training Operating Plan by offering insights and feedback on critical skills training concerns, priorities, and strategies that align with market commercial requirements.- Attend all related TTTs as a priority. Work collaboratively with the IDM Excellence Lead in disseminating best practices and optimal use of content and resources, as well as innovative approaches across IDM.Education, Skills, and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree- Strong track record of success as sales representative, trainer or marketer or related role- Relevant training delivery experience min 5 years; experience in team management and coaching is an asset.- Excellent training delivery, presentation, and facilitation skills - both ‘face to face’ and ‘virtual’ at all levels.- Ability to develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.- Excellent stakeholder management & influencing skills at all levels.- Evidence of successful cross-functional & cross-cultural working- Ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously.- Ability to make sense of complex information to make sound judgment and decision making with mínimal direction- Willingness to work in Commercial Training with a desire to continuously upskill and develop oneself.- Passion for innovation and trying new approaches.
