The Opportunity
We are looking for a buyer at Hitachi Energy, Grid Integration Division, in an international environment and with development possibilities in the SCM area. The location is in Madrid.
How You’ll Make An Impact
* Manages and leads the SCM scope of customer projects. Responsible for the budget and time schedule.
* Owns the full scope from an escalation and problem solving aspect.
* Performs work associated with coordinating, negotiating, and administering procurement proposals, bids, and contracts with suppliers/contractors including: coordinating preparation of contract and bid documents, ensuring appropriate approvals are obtained throughout the process.
* Collecting and analyzing technical, financial, and legal information as input to contract and bid documents.
* Liaising with applicable technical, finance or legal teams on matters requiring review.
* Documenting performance and service level agreements and monitoring vendor/supplier performance against those agreements.
Your background
* Technical Engineer or FP H. Technician electrical installations
* At least 5 years of experience in SCM (projects not factories / retail)
* Experience in contract management (subcontractors)
* Languages: English and Spanish at high level. French will be considered as a plus.
