at the invites applications for a full-time faculty position Teaching and Research Staff – PDI in the field of Digitalization, Business Analytics and Information Systems to join the Department of Management – Strategy and Information Systems Area at the Bilbao Campus.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to combine teaching and research activities, participate in the design and implementation of academic programmes at undergraduate, master's and executive levels, and contribute to research and knowledge transfer.
The successful candidate is expected to play an active role in the academic, research and institutional development of Deusto Business School in alignment with its strategic priorities.
The selected candidate will participate in the following functions:
Teaching undergraduate courses related to Information Systems, Digital Economy and Digital Business, in Spanish and English. Also teaching at postgraduate level, particularly in Business Analytics programmes, as well as contributing to other master's programmes aligned with digitalization and information systems.
Teaching in Executive Education programmes related to digital transformation, analytics, artificial intelligence and information systems.
Contributing to the design, development and launch of new academic programmes (undergraduate, master's and executive education) in the fields of digitalization, business analytics and information systems.
Assuming academic leadership and management responsibilities in postgraduate programmes. Also might lead platforms or chairs focused on artificial intelligence and digitalization, particularly linked to executive education and external engagement.
Conducting high-quality research with the objective of publishing in internationally recognised academic journals.
Promoting and participating in knowledge transfer activities, applied research projects and collaboration with companies and institutions.
Engaging in academic coordination, management and service activities within the Department and Deusto Business School.

Requirements
PhD in Management, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related disciplines.
Teaching and research profile aligned with digitalization, business analytics and information systems.
>Ability to teach in English and Spanish, which are the working languages of the position.Demonstrated research potential and commitment to academic excellence.
Experience or strong potential in programme development and academic management.
Interest in executive education and applied, impact-oriented activities.
ANECA accreditation (or equivalent), or clear potential to obtain it will be considered a valuable asset (within a maximum of three academic years).
