MISSION
This home-based position in Europe holds full responsibility for the global expansion (revenue and acquisition), encouraging clients to connect to our API. Responsibilities include new business development, account management, and maintaining relationships at all management levels. The role supports a wide variety of clients, including key tour operators, DMCs, and bedbanks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Focus on new business development.
2. Achieve sales targets individually and as part of a team.
3. Interact mainly via email, phone, and virtual meetings with existing clients, with some travel involved.
4. Visit clients and prospects as necessary.
5. Close new sales opportunities regularly.
6. Communicate effectively with internal finance, connection, and operations teams to ensure optimal client experience.
7. Acquire targeted clients with diligent follow-up from registration to booking.
8. Deliver compelling sales presentations to secure new business.
9. Plan visits and analyze data.
10. Support client communication and relay feedback to head office for improvements.
11. Provide weekly and monthly reports.
12. Update CRM system daily.
13. Execute strategies in line with company directives.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Candidates should ideally have a minimum of 5 years of field sales experience in the travel industry, with API understanding preferred. An excellent sales track record can substitute for less experience. Preference given to those with API sales experience or similar backgrounds. Must have excellent knowledge and contacts across market levels, be target-driven, results-oriented, and possess a good understanding of technology and online distribution. Strong communication skills, resourcefulness, organizational skills, and flexibility to travel are essential. Fluent English required; additional languages are a plus. Confident presenter and communicator.
