Job Description
As an account manager, you will qualify and follow up on all opportunities related to meetings, events, and group accommodations.
Detailed Duties and Responsibilities
* Participate in targeted sales activities such as call storms, industry-focused campaigns, and hotel-specific initiatives.
* Work on external lead lists and other platforms as required by the business.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system.
* Provide chain-wide discounts based on client needs and follow up to ensure usage of these offers.
* Utilize CRM tools to contact and qualify accounts, generating new opportunities.
* Qualify and follow up on all opportunities related to meetings, events, and group accommodations.
* Assist with both business travel inquiries and individual requests when needed.
* Consistently meet daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs for activity and performance.
* Adopt an upselling approach during client interactions to maximize revenue and add value to the client experience.
* Offer alternative solutions when preferred hotels are unavailable.
* Ensure regular communication with assigned accounts to maintain strong relationships and drive business.
Targeted Qualifications
* Fluency in Norwegian Language, C1/C2 level.
* Fluency in English Language, B2 level or Higher.
* Experience in sales, with a proven track record
* Familiarity with CRM systems is beneficial but not required.
* Positive attitude and a proactive approach to work
* Background in hospitality is an advantage, though not mandatory
* Excellent organizational and communication skills
* Proficiency in using office software programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
