About the Role
Join a global Cloud Engineering Department as part of the SRE Support team. This hands‐on position involves maintaining Azure infrastructure, automating operations, and ensuring application reliability.
What You'll Be Doing
Ensure availability and stability of Azure‐based infrastructure and services.
Lead infrastructure management in Azure IaaS and PaaS, handling deployment, configuration, scaling, and monitoring.
Automate infrastructure and operational workflows using IaC tools such as Terraform, Bicep, and ARM templates .
Collaborate with development teams to deploy applications reliably, securely, and with performance in mind.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps .
Support incident management and perform root‐cause analysis for critical production issues.
Participate in on‐call rotation (one week per month).
Monitor system health using logging and observability tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Application Insights ).
Coordinate with distributed European engineers to align DevOps/SRE standards and practices.
Must‐Have Technical Skills
Hands‐on experience with Microsoft Azure IaaS & PaaS, including App Service, Traffic Manager, API Management.
Proficiency in Azure Kubernetes Service and Docker, pipeline creation, and release management.
Solid understanding of IaC principles and tools: Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates .
Strong automation skills for operational tasks and environment provisioning.
Experience with monitoring/logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Grafana, or Prometheus .
Good understanding of networking, DNS, load balancing, and cloud‐native design patterns.
Exposure to incident management in production, resolving P1/P2 issues under pressure.
Development background in Java, NodeJS or other languages such as Python, C++, or C# .
Certifications
Nice to have: AZ‐104, AZ‐400, AZ‐305, CKA. Candidates without these will receive financial support and study time.
Soft Skills & Experience
3–5 years of DevOps/SRE experience.
Strong collaboration and communication skills; ability to work with cross‐functional teams globally.
Comfortable working remotely or in hybrid setups.
Relocation assistance available.
Optional yearly bonus up to 10 % of salary.
