As a Microsoft Office Apps Customer Engineer, you will work directly with customers to help them maximize employee productivity and collaboration through Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise, with a strong focus on Microsoft Teams and Office applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert technical guidance and support for Microsoft 365 Apps, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to Office Apps, both remotely and on‑site when required.
- Support customers with deployment, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise.
- Deliver technical workshops, training sessions, and webinars to educate customers on best practices, new features, and adoption strategies.
- Collaborate with internal IT teams to ensure seamless integration of Office Apps within customer environments.
- Guide customers in modernizing legacy solutions and adopting cloud‑based approaches.
- Stay up to date with Microsoft 365 updates and proactively recommend improvements and optimizations.
Job Qualifications:
- Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise expertise, including deployment, administration, troubleshooting, and best practices across Office applications and Teams.
- Customer‑facing technical consulting experience, with strong communication skills to engage technical, non‑technical, and leadership stakeholders.
- Workplace productivity and collaboration solutions, including integration with SharePoint, OneDrive, and Office Online Server.
- Automation and extensibility capabilities, such as PowerShell, Office Scripts, and VBA/Macros to optimize and streamline user workflows.
- Problem‑solving and analytical skills, with the ability to independently diagnose issues and deliver high‑quality, customer‑focused solutions.
