The Sr Marketing Manager (G-Series) plays a crucial role in driving product success across the region by developing the commercial product strategy. Their goal is to establish a clear and differentiated value proposition, and mapping out how to win across multiple countries with different market characteristics and patient segments. They will work closely with Market Insights and CX teams to gather essential market data, understand customer (HCP, consumer, payor) needs, and assess the competitive landscape. With this, they will define effective product positioning, and differentiation strategies to deliver the success of the Dexcom G-Series/One-Series product line across various segments, channels and geographies. Additionally, they will collaborate and align with global product teams to voice regional needs and provide valuable support for optimal lifecycle management and future strategic planning.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced product manager with a proven track record of success in developing and implementing commercial product strategies in the healthcare space. They should possess strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset, leveraging market insights and customer needs to craft a compelling value proposition and effective product positioning for diverse markets.
Responsibilities:
·Develop and guide implementation of short and long-term strategic product development plans, including support of annual brand plan development, with a focus on creating a clear value proposition to win in diverse markets, ensuring alignment with regional and global objectives.
·Act as a brand custodian to ensure consistent brand communication across all marketing channels, while guiding country teams to deliver outstanding commercial product campaign and customer engagement strategies across target audience groups (including HCP’s, consumers and payors).
·Collaborate with Market Insights and CX teams to analyze market trends, customer needs, and competition to inform product decisions and enhance the value proposition for specific markets.
·Work closely with global product teams to align regional market needs and provide valuable insights for future planning and development.
·Lead the development of comprehensive go-to-market plans for new product launches and market entries, ensuring they align with the established value proposition.
·Provide guidance and support for product lifecycle management, from launch through growth, maturity, and end-of-life strategies.
·Informing evidence generation needs to support product differentiation and promotional claims.
·Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless understanding of the product strategy and its integration into product plans and messaging, connecting the strategy to implementable campaigns.
·Review product performance analyses and market insights to make data-driven decisions and take corrective actions when necessary.
·Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements to support continuous improvement and innovation within the product portfolio.
Experience & Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
•10+ years of progressive experience in healthcare or consumer health product management, with a proven track record of success from concept development to launch and beyond, with a focus on maintaining and enhancing the value proposition.
•Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively.
•Sound knowledge of the relevant market space, competitor offerings, and industry trends.
•Good knowledge of the major heathcare systems in Europe
•Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset to measure marketing impact and optimize strategies.
•Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with global, regional, and local management teams.
•Familiarity with market research, business strategy, partner management, and relevant studies.
