The Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and reliable data pipelines, leading the evolution of the data architecture, and acting as a technical leader, actively contributing to the technical strategy of the data area.
This role is key within a data-centric organization, with a strong focus on quality, continuous improvement, and real business impact. The role operates within agile methodologies, applying Agile principles to improve efficiency, collaboration, and delivery outcomes.
Build and maintain end-to-end data pipelines on Azure
Develop data models using dbt, SQL, Databricks
Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance
Design analytics-ready models for Power BI
Apply Agile principles to improve delivery and outcomes
5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
~ Advanced proficiency in SQL and analytical data modeling.
~ Databricks / Spark
~ Azure (ADLS, ADF, Synapse or equivalent)
~ Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases.
~ Solid knowledge of Power BI :
~ Knowledge of modern data architectures.
~ Demonstrated familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, etc.)
Experience integrating Power BI with dbt models.
Knowledge of CI/CD for data platforms and Power BI.
Experience with RLS, data governance, and access control.
Understanding of Power BI Service capacity and performance metrics
Strong data-centric mindset focused on quality and value.
