Could you be the full-time Project Quality and Safety Engineer in Madrid we’re looking for?
Overview
You’ll represent quality in the project team. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (quality, project management), support the Project Team to ensure the project Safety and Quality assurance by coordinating all quality and safety activities throughout the project, and be the preferable interface in the Project Team for all departments needed for the project.
Responsibilities
* Establish the Project Quality plan and ensure proper application during contract execution in accordance with contract requirements and Alstom processes.
* Support the project teams and Project Manager to prepare gate reviews and follow up related action plans.
* Ensure quality of the modifications made during the project.
* Ensure that safety assessment is correctly implemented (e.g., safety reviews) and prepare safety authorization.
* Control project deliverables compliance through inspection and audits to authorize presentation/delivery to customer.
* Ensure return of experience process within the project.
* Manage non-conformities and safety issues and facilitate problem solving during project execution to reduce costs of non-quality (8D, REX and standards evolution).
* Involve Engineering team in customer issue solving process if needed.

* Desirable experience in managing Quality tools and problem-solving tools.
* Knowledge of railway industry (norms, certifications) would be an asset.
* High level in Spanish and English.
* Minimum two years of experience.
* Experience in Quality/audit is appreciated.
* French is valuable.
