As the EMEA Product Marketing Specialist for the Varian Software Solutions product family, you will be responsible for creating and executing the product marketing strategies for our growing oncology software product portfolio. You will be part of the EMEA Software product marketing team, responsible for related activities from go-to-market and launch plans (value proposition & messaging, product launches, campaigns, lifecycle management, and initiatives) through to commercial and pricing strategies. You will collaborate with global and geo cross-functional teams to ensure market success.
Main Responsibilities
* Develop specific marketing plans and activities for our software products and product lines.
* Establish, enhance or distinguish product placement within the competitive arena.
* Market and promote software products at tradeshows and events.
* Develop and perform product introductions and trainings for Geo Sales.
* Plan, organize and co-create targeted and engaging content for all channels. Develop business plans and product positioning in the marketplace.
* Oversee market research, monitor competitive activity and identify customer needs.
* Travel within Europe (30-40%).
Requirements
* Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) and/or 2-5 years of related experience or Master’s Degree with little experience.
* Clinical or technical background, with experience in radiation therapy.
* Excellent communications skills in English;
Spanish would be a great asset.
* Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

* Excellent teamwork and analytical skills.
