About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst Contractor to support strategic and operational initiatives within a fast-paced logistics environment based in Madrid. The successful candidate will work closely with operations, IT, finance, and commercial teams to analyze business processes, optimize supply chain performance, and deliver data-driven insights that improve efficiency and service levels.
This role is ideal for a self-driven professional with strong analytical capabilities and hands-on experience in logistics or supply chain environments.
Key Responsibilities
Gather, document, and validate business requirements from stakeholders across logistics, warehousing, and transportation functions
Analyze operational workflows (transport planning, last-mile delivery, inventory management, warehouse operations)
Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend scalable solutions
Translate business needs into functional specifications for technical teams
Support implementation of logistics systems (WMS, TMS, ERP integrations)
Develop KPIs and dashboards to monitor operational performance
Perform cost-benefit analysis and impact assessments
Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and cross-functional alignment sessions
Support change management and user acceptance testing (UAT)
Required Qualifications
~ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
~4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in logistics, transportation, or supply chain
~ Strong understanding of supply chain processes and distribution networks
~ Experience with ERP, WMS, or TMS systems
~ Advanced Excel skills and experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
~ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
~ Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
~ Fluency in Spanish and English
Preferred Skills
Experience working in high-volume logistics operations
Knowledge of process modeling tools (e.g., BPMN, Visio)
Familiarity with data analysis tools (SQL, Python is a plus)
Experience in digital transformation or automation projects
Agile/Scrum exposure
