What You’ll Build
Join SAP’s Data Management & Landscape Transformation (DMLT) team as an Engagement Architect. In this high‑impact, end‑to‑end solution role you will bridge SAP RISE/Cloud ERP challenges with our specialized service capabilities, orchestrating presales, defining architectures, and delivering transformational outcomes for SAP’s most strategic customers.
Strategic Solution Leadership
- Orchestrate end‑to‑end presales and solutioning for SAP RISE and cloud ERP transformations, driving technical and functional delivery for data migration initiatives.
- Lead strategic selling activities, technical bid management, and solution demonstrations.
- Own assigned opportunities from start to finish, actively managing pre‑sales cycles with sales teams and SAP subject‑matter experts.
Customer Engagement & Architecture
- Lead technical assessment workshops with customers to define project scope and transformation requirements.
- Define solution approaches and business blueprinting for complex data migration and transformation projects.
- Identify customer needs in data consolidation and harmonization, designing optimal architecture using the DMLT portfolio and SAP technology stack.
- Present SAP RISE / BDC / AI capabilities to executive audiences, translating technical solutions into clear business value.
Portfolio Development & Collaboration
- Drive adoption of DMLT automation topics within customer projects and generate demand through portfolio discussions.
- Collaborate with engagement architects, solution experts, and delivery teams to ensure technical alignment and smooth project execution.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying automation opportunities and developing reusable assets.
What You Bring – Core Experience
- 10+ years in SAP services sales or pre‑sales with a proven track record in complex solution selling.
- 5+ years of experience in bid approval and bid management processes.
- Deep understanding of Mergers & Acquisitions or Divestitures, or data transformation project execution.
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA data migration and various transition scenarios.
- Basic understanding of SAP FI, CO, MM, and SD with ability to articulate process flows and service impacts.
- Deep business and functional expertise in at least one area: Finance, Logistics, BW/BDC, or Data Integration.
- SAP project management experience with the ability to create project plans, RACIs, and SOWs.
Business Acumen – Leadership & Communication
- Exceptional leadership skills with ability to engage customers at executive level.
- Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Ability to estimate monetary impact of various solution architecture alternatives.
- Proven experience delivering services in remote environments with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong commitment to knowledge management and mentoring.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
