Finance Controller – Venture Capital Sector | Madrid

Responsibilities
* Oversee accounting functions, including fund closings, LP reporting, tax compliance, audits, and CNMV submissions.
* Drive continuous improvement of systems and processes to optimize efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
* Maintain robust accounting policies and procedures to ensure accurate, compliant financial records.
* Collaborate with portfolio companies and the investment team on fund operations such as capital calls, distributions, and performance metrics.
* Support compliance requirements across funds (ESG, AML, and related regulations).
Requirements
* University degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
* 4–5 years of professional experience in finance, accounting, or audit—ideally within Venture Capital, Private Equity, or regulated financial sectors.
* Strong understanding of local accounting standards and regulatory compliance.
* Advanced Excel and proficiency with digital/AI analytical tools.
* Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Fluency in Spanish and English.
