Staff Digital Specialist
We are looking for a Staff Digital Specialist to work in a multinational company. Its products and services are designed to benefit people and improve their quality of life.
Purpose:
Enhance digital enablement processes with generative AI models and agentic workflows to speed up the design, launch and support of digital products that contribute to an automated end-to-end data and decisions centric pipeline.
Key Tasks & responsibilities:
• Define strategic plan for implementation of agentic workflows (including models) across the digital enablement framework (design, launch and support)
• Build robust rubrics and playbooks to quality check performance of AI models
• Make recommendations of frequency of quality checks and performance metrics
• Evaluate, test, govern, launch and support AI models and workflows that contribute to digital enablement
• Be a member of AI focused technical teams and projects where opportunities are defined and problems are framed up for AI suitable tasks
• Define best practices and develop change management processes to facilitate human and AI system collaboration and hand-offs as well as integration with existing workflows to drive digital strategy.
• Rapidly experiment, verify and set guardrails for AI output.
• Maintain current knowledge of the rapidly changing AI landscape and understand opportunities for cost or efficiency gains.
• Evaluate potential solutions with significant opportunity gains and define impacts and build proposals for adoption
• Work closely with business and IT partners to ensure alignment with enterprise strategic framework, timely delivery of required AI capabilities within budget;
• Acquire a deep understanding of end-to-end business processes and strategic imperatives;
• Identify growth opportunities for leveraging AI for advanced data analyses, digital systems and platform enablement;
• Engage both end users and business leads across functions then clearly represent and communicate the needs of the functions;
• Define and track project success metrics to ensure delivery of anticipated business capabilities;
• Problem-solve and prioritize high-value work related to Data Science and Engineering objectives
Skills & qualifications:
• PhD +3 years’ experience, MS +6 years experience or BS and 8+ years experience in Data Science, Decision Science, or Data Engineering.
Skills (Technical & Soft)
• AI foundation and domain mastery with ability to execute code-based agentic workflows
• Ability to adapt in rapidly changing environment
• Demonstrated R&D domain knowledge in R&D with strong preference for agriculture sector experience
• Thorough understanding of IT product pipelines
• Experience with Agile methodologies and project management
• Demonstrated matrix project leadership and proven ability to grow relationships independently with key partners
• Excellent written and oral communication; complete proficiency in English with ability to coordinate and clearly communicate information between technical IT teams, scientists and business stakeholders
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and influencing skills, independent and cross functional problem solving which drive digital business solutions effectively with international and interdisciplinary teams
• Demonstrated project leadership and influence skills that develop trusting partnerships with cross-functional teams, leading to lasting digital change.
