About this job
In view of the large investment planned to expand and modernize Consumer Panel Services (CPS) at European and Global level, this is role is pivotal in the commercial strategy and focused on delivering outstanding growth and raise the bar of Consumer Intelligence services.
The Consultant Director will be part of the Iberian CPS team leading three functions: Consultants (CPS client managers), Subject Matter Experts (CPS thought leaders) and CAS team (CPS advanced analytics). He/Her will report directly to the CPS Leader Iberia.
Given the matrix dependencies inherent in the role, Consultant Director will coordinate the relationships with CPS Sales, AD, Customer Success, Product Leadership and Operation teams to agree a clear and optimal way of working. This activity will be done in partnership with the Iberian CPS Leader.
Key responsibilities
● Position NielsenIQ to win long-term Consumer Panel contracts
● Overview the Discover rollout and launch of Panel on Demand suite
● Partner with PL and Ops team in the implementation of Panel Expansion in Spain
● Develop Consumer Advanced Analytics business in partnership with CAS Global team
● Enhance NIQ’s reputation as thought leader and expert on consumers & shoppers
● Upskill the wider CPS & Customer Success community on Consumer & shopper analytics
Key Accountabilities
● Guarantee the best-in-class delivery promoting a full integration of RMS and CPS insights
● Partner with CPS Sales and AD teams in key pitches to deliver a balanced client pitch experience in terms of consumer expertise and commercial empathy
● Partner with CPS Sales and AD teams to Meet or exceed revenue targets and grow market share for Consumer Intelligence local teams
● Delight selected priority clients with a shadow service strategy
● Generate upsell opportunities on existing clients
● Partner with CPS Sales and AD teams to Meet or exceed revenue targets and grow market share for Consumer Intelligence local teams
● Develop new revenue streams (commercial initiatives, new strategic projects deployment…)
● Clearly and convincingly articulate CPS offerings and value proposition and overcome any resistance from prospective clients
● Be our consumer & shopper voice (with the Director for Consumer & Analytics) on platforms and in forums
● Unlock ad hoc headroom through broader product reach and better packaging of client benefits
● Know client, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to leadership team
● Scale people impact by driving clarity, generating energy, and building diverse teams
● Maintain customer relationships and increase NPS index
● Ensure internal processes are followed, including team’s adherence to tracking customer and transactional information in CRM system and other operational processes
● Hire, train and mentor Consultant talent
● Maintain product/technical knowledge by participating in learning workshops/sessions.
● Partnership with other NIQ business teams to create a customer-centric offering

Requirements
● Knowledge of and experience working with Consumer Panel Data (CPS) is essential
● 10+ years of sales leadership experience managing a team
● Long lasting experience in the area of Homescan panels and Homescan analytics
● Strong track record of recruiting, developing, and retaining a high performing enterprise organization
● Experience of using NielsenIQ and/or Kantar Worldpanel analytic tools & delivery systems
● Fluent in English and Spanish
● Experienced storyteller
● Expert relationship building skills and a strong record of senior client relationship development
● Proven experience successfully meeting sales revenues and targets for area or product line
● Strong engagement and communication skills as well as excellent negotiation skills
● Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, team environment
