For our Test & Measurement sales division in Madrid, we are looking for a highly motivated Sales Engineer focused on the Aerospace & Defense market while meeting assigned sales targets. The candidate will be based in our Madrid office.
Responsibilities
* Promote R&S test and measurement solutions in the Spanish Aerospace & Defense accounts while meeting assigned sales targets.
* Build and maintain sustainable valued relationships with assigned customers while achieving annual business targets in the area of responsibility.
* Focus on developing and closing new sales opportunities.
* Consult with customers to understand and address their technical and business requirements with R&S solutions and services that meet their needs.
* Plan and execute account development initiatives to generate demand in the key account.
* Follow up of public and private tenders.
* Build a clear picture of opportunities at the accounts to drive solutions and product development on priorities within R&S.
Qualifications
* Electronics / Telecom based University degree.
* Security clearance required.
* Proven understanding of the Spanish A&D market from a current or previous similar role.
* Excellent B2B communication and presentation skills.
* Customer focus – able to build sustainable and strong relationships with customers, understand and anticipate customer needs, and take actions to fulfil these needs.
* Mother language Spanish; fluent in English.
