What will your mission be?
You will be responsible for dealing with logistics of the EU division: imports, exports and intra-Europe. Amongst others, you:
Handle the order flow from A-Z. Truck and sea transports.
Are responsible for the document & compliance management.
Responsible for issuance and/or check of transport and cargo documents.
Coordinate with shipping agents and freight carriers (registration and handling of shipments).
Handle and plan transport of goods, doing benchmarks of commonly used routes.
Are in direct contact with international customers, suppliers and carriers.
Monitor delivery dates, are in charge of data entry, daily system update, accurate and timely input.
Stock management: understock positions, control and update, intercompany stocks movement and transferences, bonded and cleared stocks positions.
Samples and COA management.
VAT and Customs: coordination with agents for custom clearing material and payment of VAT and duties.
Thorough use of Incoterms + risks involved.
Ad-hoc projects: tolling, repacking, system migration, transport rate matrix, REACH, etc.
What do we need from you?
Excellent English skills are a must
Other languages, such as Spanish, are a benefit
A very detailed oriented mindset, with sense of prioritization, proactive and flexible
Previous Logistics experience, ideally in specialty metals and chemicals, ready to dive in and learn the ins and outs of our business
At least 2 years in a professional environment with logistics experience
Multiple backgrounds, high motivation, challenges lover and opportunities seeker to keep learning
