Skills / Qualifications
* Degree in Telecommunications Technology and Engineering Services.
* Knowledge/experience in high-frequency microwave antenna and circuit analysis and design.
* Knowledge/experience using commercial electromagnetic simulation software (CST, HFSS, ADS).
Specific Requirements
* Solid electromagnetic background in transmission media, circuits and radiation for microwave‑millimeterwave engineering.
* Interest in work‑research in microwave‑millimeterwave technologies, specifically antenna systems and their feeders.
* Interest in research topics related to antenna and microwave technologies.
Languages
* Spanish: Excellent
* English: Good

Eligibility Criteria

* The applications will be evaluated by a three‑person committee following the UPM procedures and taking into account the supporting documentation of merits and possible individual interviews. Specifically, education, experience, background in antenna and microwave circuit design, as well as computer tools for their design, specific requirements, and suitability will be scored. The position may become vacant if the committee, after conducting the interview, considers that there is no suitable candidate.

Additional comments: The tasks to be performed will be carried out within the framework of the TEC‑2024/TEC‑22 (RAFTEC‑CM) project of the Community of Madrid.
