Position Overview Socialpoint is excited to welcome an Economy Designer to our Dragon City Team. The Economy Designer will be responsible for the game's economy, including ongoing balancing and optimizations, economy design for new events and features, collaborating with seasoned game leads, product managers, and design teams to create engaging experiences for our players.
What You’ll Do
Model and balance complex systems in the game to maintain a healthy and growing game economy.
Monitor, tune and optimize game features and IAP purchases to drive player engagement and growth in important KPIs.
Perform ongoing data analysis, A/B testing, and advanced control models to predict outcomes of changes.
Manage the economy and pricing of virtual goods, balancing between free content versus paid.
Have a deep understanding of players' behavior and how different groups of customers behave differently to inform the design and balance of the economy.
Work closely with our Product Managers, Game Design and Live Operations teams to design the desired game experiences.
What You Bring
Proven experience working in a similar role; strong bonus if you have led the economy in at least one live, successful mobile f2p game.
A data‑driven sensei with outstanding analytical skills and statistics and strong ability to set measurable goals.
A strong communicator, highly skilled in working with multidisciplinary game teams (Product, Game Design, Analytics) and proficient in English.
Incredibly passionate about creating innovative, fun & highly engaging games and overall, passionate about helping to take our live games to the next level.
A creative force capable of coming up with multiple ideas and solutions to a wide array of challenges.
An exceptional team player that embraces transparency, honesty & humility; experience in people management is a strong bonus.
Experience working with SQL, R, Python – an advantage.
