At ING we are looking for a Finance Business Partner
Your role and work environment:
We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to help us in our ambition to support the Retail business in ING Spain to achieve the commercial and financial targets, while ensuring that we build towards the overall strategy.
In your journey towards achieving this challenging target, you will have an end-2-end perspective of the business (Income, Pricing, Expenses, Balances, profitability and performance ratios). You are comparing our long-term vision against our current performance and external market trends to initiate new initiatives to bring our strategy into execution. And you are preparing regular financial updates to Product Leadership and other key stakeholders to monitor and report on our performance.
This will grant you with a dynamic environment, frequent exposure to senior leaders, growth potential and the possibility to have real impact. You will receive close support and attention from your manager in the delivery of your duties and your professional development.
You are a collaborative professional who listens and invests in others to achieve common goals. You combine strong analytical and numerical skills with a natural ability to communicate to and convince senior leadership. You are able to simplify complexity by extracting the key messages from different information sources and translate this into powerful presentations and reports.
Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities:
What you\'ll be doing as a Finance Business Partner :
Acting as a linking pin between Finance domain and the rest of areas, ensuring the bank ́s strategy and financial ambition are known, shared and embraced as one team.
Business performance understanding, monitoring and forecasting:
Full control and analysis of the actual figures, understanding the external and internal income, expenses, risk costs and balance sheet developments.
Active forecasting, anticipating business developments, in close cooperation with business leaders.
Mid-term budget setting with clear targets and KPI towards achieving our long-term ambition.
Ongoing development and technical refinement of financial models thanks to the in-depth knowledge of the business (actuals & forecast).
Being the finance partner to business stakeholders:
Ad hoc analyses & research to support key strategic initiatives & pricing.
Share insights and challenge the existing E2E performance.
Collaborate in new business development proposals.
Being able to translate analyses and business performance into concise and powerful presentations:
Strategy papers and presentations.
Business Performance monitoring.
Local committees (ALCO, Pricing etc.)
Qualifications
What are we looking for?
A strong set of technical and analytical abilities:
Master or bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience (preferably in banking and/or consulting)
Excellent speaking and writing skills in English is a must.
Strong analytical skills. Proven experience in advanced financial modelling and excel automatization.
High level of autonomy and initiative.
Problem solving mindset.
Well-developed cooperation and communication skills.
Ability to work on an international level.

Sus principales responsabilidades
Lo que harás como Retail Finance Business Partner :
Actuar como un nexo de unión entre el dominio de Finanzas y el resto de áreas, asegurando que la estrategia y la ambición financiera del banco se conozcan, compartan y acepten como un solo equipo.
Comprensión, seguimiento y previsión del rendimiento empresarial:
Control y análisis total de las cifras reales, entendiendo la evolución de los ingresos externos e internos, gastos, costes de riesgo y balance.
Previsión activa, anticipando la evolución del negocio, en estrecha colaboración con los líderes empresariales.
Establecimiento de un presupuesto a medio plazo con objetivos claros y KPI para alcanzar nuestra ambición a largo plazo.
Desarrollo continuo y refinamiento técnico de los modelos financieros gracias al profundo conocimiento del negocio (actuals y previsiones).
Ser el socio financiero de las partes interesadas del negocio:
Análisis e investigación ad hoc para respaldar iniciativas estratégicas clave y fijación de precios.
Comparta información y desafíe el rendimiento E2E empresarial existente.
Colaborar en nuevas propuestas de desarrollo de negocio.
Ser capaz de traducir los análisis y el rendimiento del negocio en presentaciones concisas y potentes:
Documentos de estrategia y presentaciones.
Monitoreo del Desempeño del Negocio.
Comités locales (COAP, precios, etc.)
¿Qué buscamos?
Un sólido conjunto de habilidades técnicas y analíticas:
Maestría o licenciatura con un mínimo de 4 años de experiencia (preferiblemente en banca y/o consultoría)
Excelentes habilidades para hablar y escribir en inglés es imprescindible.
Fuertes habilidades analíticas. Experiencia comprobada en modelización financiera avanzada y automatización de excels.
