You will join the Customer Operations & Order Management team, working closely with Sales, Logistics, Planning, and Finance to ensure efficient order processing and a smooth customer experience. The team is focused on accuracy, responsiveness, and delivering high service levels across the full order-to-delivery cycle.
This role in summary
The Order Desk Specialist ensures accurate and timely processing of customer orders, supporting the full order-to-delivery cycle while maintaining compliance with commercial policies and providing high-quality customer support.
Your responsibilities will include
* Receive and verify sales orders to ensure accuracy (price, availability, quantity) and compliance with company policies.
* Manage order processing from creation in SAP to generating delivery numbers.
* Support the release or hold of orders based on business conditions, delivery dates, or customer requirements.
* Communicate with the Logistics team to maximize delivery execution and ensure timely shipments.
* Coordinate with the Customer Relationship Planner to confirm product availability.
* Work closely with the Sales team to address customer requests and provide order-related updates.
* Collaborate with the Credit department to resolve order holds and accelerate approvals.
* Ensure customer satisfaction by applying problem-solving tools and contributing to continuous process improvement.
* High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree (Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related fields).
* Strong skills in order processing and administrative accuracy.
* Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
* Solid communication skills in English.
* Ability to work with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
* Native Spanish language.
Preferred skills and experiences
* Previous experience in Order Management / Customer Service / Logistics coordination.
* Knowledge of EDI order processing.
* Experience working in FMCG, retail, or consumer electronics sectors.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Outlook).
