Responsibilities:
1. Lead analysis of warranty returns from Vibracoustic customers, ensuring proper report out which meets customer timing and expectations
2. Work with Quality and Engineering teams to document containment actions, root causes and corrective actions.
3. Act as the point of contact with customer from initial contact through final closure of a warranty concern.
4. Analyze data available in customer warranty portals to identify and manage potential warranty risks/trends.
5. Perform warranty reporting on a monthly basis and maintain open issues lists.
6. Participate in APQP activities, driving lessons learned into product designs and processes.
7. Manage efforts to reduce warranty costs Support warranty negotiations as necessary
Qualifications:
8. Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent engineering/technical experience
9. 3+ years of experience as warranty engineer in automotive industry
10. Advanced mathematical skills, with working knowledge of advanced statistical methods, APQP and root cause analysis
11. Proficient with Word, Excel and Powerpoint
12. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to present technical material direct to customer
13. High organization skills, with ability to ensure completion of tasks within required deadlines
14. Rational/productive negotiation skills.
15. Advanced English level
