The Technology Product Owner manages the technology product strategy, roadmap, backlog, and lifecycle for a variety of Globally deployed fixed connectivity products/platforms and the associated product development value-streams. 
You will negotiate, manage, and agree demand into the practice for these products and manage the finance and operational governance to develop and launch the technology product/feature. 
You will work closely with Product Management leads, Development leads, vendors, technology, and operations teams to build the technology backlog to inform and deliver the product/platform strategy and roadmap. 
You will input to the creation of product capability requirements for developments working jointly with the LOB product manager. You will then translate these into lower-level product/platform/operating model feature requirements to feed into IT, Service Design & Product Architecture activities. 
**Key accountabilities and decision ownership**: 
- Manage the interface between the UCC Practice and the LoB Product Manager(s). 
- Interlock overall product/platform costs/budget/demands with LoB Product manager, LPM, Finance. 
- Manage the product/solution backlog for the technology product. Confirm mandatory technical debt, enablers and KTLO to go onto the plan along with recommendations e.g., security & data privacy, technology insights and vendor roadmap. 
- Align and prioritise, new technology innovation work taking inputs from the LoB Product Manager. 
- Ensure that the technical alignment to local product/technology needs & drive interlock of local asks to launch General products 
- Undertake in-life technology management (including service and systems). 
- Ensure that new technology/vendor selection decisions meet the product requirements including features, unit costs, service models, CX, SLAs, roadmaps. 
- Engage with Vendors to understand their roadmaps and lifecycle plans to inform the Technology Product Roadmap and backlog. 
**Core competencies, knowledge, and experience**: 
- Strong understanding of Fixed Connectivity Products/Technologies - e.g., SD-WAN, Ethernet, Internet, IP-VPN, Cloud Connectivity to assess requirements/viability. 
- Strong understanding of Vodafone deployment of underlay technologies and automation/orchestration & service assurance capabilities. 
- Strong understanding of end-to-end service chaining technologies when integrating SDN with security, underlay, and other. Vodafone/3rd Party services. 
- Brings a balance of customer, business and technology understanding to relate technology solutions to product outcomes.
