Those in deal strategy at PwC will focus on providing strategic advice and support to clients in areas such as mergers and acquisitions divestitures and restructuring. Your work will involve analysing market trends assessing business opportunities and developing strategic frameworks to guide clients in making informed decisions regarding their deals. You will help clients navigate complex transactions identify potential risks and opportunities and develop strategies to maximise value and achieve their business objectives. Working in this area you will play a crucial role in assisting clients in formulating and executing effective strategies to optimise outcomes in their deal-making processes.
Each year PwC network firms acquire 10-15 companies across the EMEA region. The majority of these operate in the most vibrant growth areas such as technology cyber security and digital consulting. To further drive PwCs growth the Corporate M&A; team is seeking to recruit the best professionals to advise PwCs management board. Candidates will be selected based on the best overall fit in terms of experience skills and motivation.
As a member of the Corporate M&A; team you will plan and execute corporate development strategy market screens portfolio reviews commercial due diligence and post-merger integration or carve-out projects for PwC in the EMEA region. This includes the management and coordination of complex cross-border projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Y ou will oversee deal pipeline and execute value creation plans and ensure smooth handover from strategy and diligence into integration execution.
You will help PwC grow and thereby create a network within PwC with its advisors and with other professional services firms. Your advice will influence PwCs market share profitability and return on investment.
Requirements
- You hold an excellen t university degree (Masters or MBA) in business administration ( business-) mathematics engineering natural or social sciences.
- You have 5 years of work experience across the deal lifecycle including strategy consulting in the strategy / M&A; department of a well-known company in the private equity industry or equivalent.
- You have successfully delivered portfolio reviews market entry assessment c ommercial d ue d iligence and transformation or value creation projects in a dynamic environment (preferably in the business services industry).
- Your experience equips you with the tools and mindset to manage direct reports and coordinate a diverse and international project team.
- You feel comfortable in working with integral colleagues and enjoy navigat ing through a complex stakeholder landscape.
- You have exceptional communication skills and excellent English skills (C1 or C2 additionally German is considered a plus).
- You are well experienced with tech tools and have a good understanding of databases.
