They have created a new opportunity for a Technical Account Manager to join them. Their Clients are consuming more technical services than ever - DevOps, data, Infrastructure, etc - and the old model of Service Delivery Managers didn't focus enough on the relationship management. This is not a sales role with quotas. This is delivery-led - service reviews, relationship management, demand shaping, and being credible enough on both sides that neither the client nor the internal team feels managed. You don't need to be an Engineer but as Technical Account Manager you do need to understand how technical services are built and delivered and can have a technical conversation then translate the technical requirements in layman's terms.Half is working the internal side - understanding delivery constraints, shaping demand, pre-empting problems before they become your client's problem.The Technical Account Manager will also contribute to the continuous evolutions of the Account Management function, improving how customers are engaged and supported and strengthening internal processes
