Our client is a leading company in the pharmaceutical sector and is looking to hire an Internal Audit Manager for its offices in Cerdanyola del Vallès. This person will report to the Corporate Services Director and will provide support sustainable growth by help safeguard the organisation’s assets, policy compliance and prevent any fraud, diagnose internal risks across the organization and suggest corrective actions, fostering efficiency, build trust among stakeholders and Governance Committees.
Responsibilities:
Provide the company with valuable information and financial analysis, helping identify areas for cost savings, process optimisation and increased operational efficiency.
• Ensure that the financial operations and processes comply with applicable laws, regulations and company policies.
• Maintain transparency, mitigate risks and enhance overall financial integrity.
• Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management systems and financial reporting processes within the company.
• Detect and prevent financial and operational risks.
• Responsible for the area budget.
• Availability to travel.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate assigned audit areas.
• Ensure traceable documentation of audit activities.
Required Profiles:
• 5 years in Internal/external Audit.
• High level os English.
• Office 365 / Specific audit packages, accounting systems and data analysis tools.
• External audit background and/or Internal Audit certification.
• External Audit expertise and / or Internal Audit certification (CIA…).
• University degree / Bachelor's degree in Economics or a related discipline
• Ability to manage multiple projects in different countries adhering to milestones, timescales and deadlines.
• Strong accounting and audit background.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; assertiveness.
• Autonomous & proactive. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to create bonds with collaborators & external advisors. Ability to interact effectively and goal-oriented with all levels of the organization.
