Executive Chef
The Zanzibar Collection is seeking an experienced and professional Executive Chef to lead the culinary team at Zanzibar’s most internationally awarded 05-Star Luxury Beach Resort.
This is a unique opportunity to shape an exceptional dining experience in a truly stunning location, where you'll be inspired by the natural beauty, vibrant culture and unique ingredients of Zanzibar.
We are looking for a visionary culinary leader with a passion for innovation and a deep understanding of diverse cuisines. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing a high-end kitchen, mentoring a diverse team, and consistently delivering a world-class culinary experience.
Professional Qualifications
* A degree or diploma from a recognized culinary institution.
* A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in a luxury hotel or resort kitchen, with at least 3 years in an Executive Chef role.
* Extensive knowledge of international cuisines, including proficiency in multiple culinary styles.
* Proven expertise in menu development, food costing, inventory management, and kitchen sanitation standards.
* Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
* Ability to manage a multicultural team and work effectively in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
