Nethodology is a company that specialises in Digital Consumer Research and is part of the renowned market research firm, AeI Group. We are seeking a candidate for the role of data analyst (social listening) in our Barcelona office. Main tasks: Quantitative and qualitative analysis of consumer conversations on social media in multiple European languages. Communicate findings from data and analyses in the form of written reports & presentations (in English). Develop queries and visualisations to bring order and insight to complex datasets from various sources. Actively participate in cross-functional research and analysis projects. Training in tools and analysis techniques. You will work in a dynamic team. Immediate incorporation into the company. Indefinite full-time contract. Hybrid working. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Degree (Grado/ Diplomatura/ Licenciatura) in any of the following subjects: Sociology, Psychology, Market Research, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, Marketing, Advertising or Economics. Fully fluent in Spanish and English (the interview will be conducted in English). 2 years of experience in data analysis and report writing. Good knowledge of social networks (X, Meta, YouTube, and others). Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (and MS office suite in general). Interest in consumer and market research including data analysis and visualization. DESIRED SKILLSETS Post-graduate/ Masters degrees in the areas of Marketing, Digital Marketing. Strong teamwork attitude, excellent communications skills, motivated and goal oriented. Proficiency in other languages (French, Italian, German or Turkish) a plus. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail and a well-organized, structured approach to work. Ability to pick out insights that are relevant to particular clients and succinctly summarise these in written format. Performs well under pressure & able to keep to deadlines. Motivated self-starter with a desire to learn. Past experience in data analysis with Python is a plus. An interest in the automotive sector is a plus.
