Offer Description

We are seeking to recruit a Senior R&T Post-Award Technical Project Manager for the Project Management Office (OGP) of the Research Management and Promotion Area (AGIR) at the UOC.

The mission of this job will be the management and monitoring of R&T and Institutional projects with public and private funding. For the UOC, research is a priority and central to its activity. The University promotes research, transfer, and innovation in online learning and the impact of technology in any discipline or activity.

You will work in a dynamic and flexible environment where you can develop professionally by working towards objectives.

Responsibilities
* Monitoring the project work plan, risk management, scientific reports, and contractual management of grant and consortium agreements.
* Participating in consortium meetings and providing support in organisation and dissemination activities.
* Acting as a liaison between researchers, other UOC departments and other units of the Research and Innovation Area, funding agencies, other consortium members, and collaborative project coordinators.
* Planning and monitoring expenditure execution and change management: Managing R&I grant budgets. Technical support in project planning. Feasibility analysis and budget redefinition if necessary. Support for amendments, adjustments, and responding to requirements. Support in the preparation of financial reports and internal audits.
* Requesting and monitoring labour and/or commercial contracts.
* Registering and updating projects in internal and external project management tools and monitoring schedules and dedication (timesheets).
* Performing registration, maintenance, and document closure tasks.
* Scheduling and monitoring the delivery of scientific/technical, economic justifications, and audits.
* Ensuring compliance with institutional policies and the regulations and policies of funding bodies.
* Contributing to the operation of the R&I Funding Unit and the continuous improvement in project management.

The successful candidate will be awarded an open-ended full-time contract, with the expectation of immediate incorporation.

For work on site, the principal location will be the UOC Campus, at Rambla del Poblenou 154-156, Barcelona. At the UOC, we work with an open working model that combines remote working with work on-site, according to organizational needs and the nature of the tasks involved.

Qualifications
* University Degree. Preferably, a degree in Economic Sciences, Business Administration and Management, or a Diploma in Business Studies or similar.
* Proven experience of a minimum of 5 years in the management and coordination of research proposals and projects.
* Knowledge of regional, national, and international R&I funding programmes.
* Advanced proficiency in office automation tools.
* English level equivalent to B2-C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference, or equivalent to the First or Advanced Certificate.
* Communication skills and oral and written expression in Catalan, Spanish, and English.
* Organisational and time management skills (managing simultaneous projects ensuring compliance with deadlines).
* High level of initiative and ability for teamwork and personal relationships.
Also of interest
* Specific training in the field of innovation and research management.
* Experience with the management of large, high-complexity, and consortium-based international projects.
* Knowledge of the UOC educational model.
* Knowledge of the UOC's educational model, structure, systems, and processes.
