Job Purpose
Drive innovation and lead our business to new heights by spearheading the Digital Supply Chain (DSC) team. Key Responsibilities
* Be a part of the Digital Supply Chain (DSC) team, a new team of 40+ FTE that will be pivotal in the Ice Cream Company’s ambition to be a Digital First company.
* You will be the project manager for all digital developments in SC Procurement. Together with your colleagues from the Procurement Tech branch of the DSC team, you will be responsible for project management, and in some cases also execution, of all digital developments in Procurement.
* SC business will contact you with development requests; you will assess feasibility based on your deep knowledge of both SC Procurement and IT (data, data lake structure, solution integration, current project pipeline, D&A capabilities, etc.).
* Work with colleagues from Procurement Tech, SC business, and IT to make business cases for suitable projects. Guide projects from start to finish: business case, Tech Design Board presentation, interdisciplinary team setup, and execution.
* Typically, execution of projects will be handled by the IT team, but you may, where needed, use your knowledge of the data lake structure, data availability, SC Procurement needs, and your basic data engineering skills to build solutions that meet SC Procurement needs, ensuring the shortest turnaround time possible.
* As part of Ice Cream’s transition to a standalone company, help identify, migrate, and, where necessary, rebuild existing SC Procurement systems. In collaboration with the Reporting team, help ensure all SC Procurement reports are correctly migrated and rebuilt.
* Identify local SC Procurement tools and evaluate whether they can be replaced by global tools as part of the “Global First, Local by Exception” digital agenda.
* Develop an end-to-end overview of SC Procurement technology and collaborate with SC Procurement business teams and Excellence teams to continuously improve the Ice Cream Company’s SC Procurement capabilities.
* Act as the face to the business for all SC Procurement Tech requests and help give the DSC Procurement Tech team a strong identity and top-of-mind status for all Procurement technology requests.
What You Need to Succeed
* Ability to execute strategic goals, aligning them with business objectives.
* Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise between IT, SC business, and SC leadership.
* Proficiency in managing complex projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.
* Strong knowledge of SC Procurement, data lake structures, basic data engineering, and general supply chain knowledge to ensure efficient throughput of projects.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex supply chain challenges.
* Ability to identify and implement innovative solutions to improve supply chain reporting processes.
* Ability to thrive in a team environment.
Experiences & Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Supply Chain Procurement role.
* Proven experience with digital supply chain technologies and data management.
* Demonstrated success in supporting large-scale digital projects and cross-functional teams.
* Knowledge of supply chain best practices and emerging trends (e.g., AI, IoT).
