Role Overview
As a software engineer in the CUE Print team, you will develop and maintain our print publishing system in C++, optimize functionalities, collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in code reviews, and contribute to system modernization.
Key Responsibilities
* Implement new features ensuring accessibility, performance, and maintainability.
* Participate in the full software lifecycle, develop solutions aligned with product vision.
* Analyze requirements and write technical specifications.
* Ensure high-quality code through reviews and best practices.
* Focus on security and compliance.
* Collaborate with teams to develop robust solutions.
* Maintain customer satisfaction in collaboration with the service department.
* Stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications
* B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
* At least 2-3 years of software development experience.
* Proficiency in C++ and knowledge of current standards and algorithms.
* Understanding of software architecture, optimization, and large codebases.
* Experience with version control systems like Git and Atlassian tools.
* Knowledge of automated testing and CI/CD pipelines (a plus).
* Comfortable in agile environments, able to work independently and in teams.
* Ability to set technical direction and mentor team members.
* Intermediate understanding of design patterns and best practices.
