Role Summary: We are a young Boutique Investment Bank, with HQ in Spain but with presence in several countries in Europe.
As a Senior Analyst at KH Holdings, you will lead the analysis and structuring department, focusing on optimizing business models and financial plans for startups and SMEs seeking investment rounds between €500k and €5M. Your expertise will influence our clients' success in securing funding by providing strategic insights and support during engagements with VC and private equity (PE) funds.
Success in this role is defined by delivering accurate analyses, guiding clients through the investment process, and exceeding performance targets, contributing to our organization's growth. The role is primarily remote via videoconferencing, with a preference for CET time zone. We consider part-time roles (minimum 50%) within CET hours.
Responsibilities
* Business Model Analysis: Evaluate and improve startup and SME business models to align with VC investment criteria and market trends.
* Financial Planning: Develop detailed financial plans and forecasts reflecting realistic growth and funding needs.
* Department Leadership: Lead the analysis and structuring team, mentoring junior analysts and fostering collaboration.
* Support Placement Efforts: Work with the placement department to prepare materials and insights for client engagements with VC and PE funds.
* Rework Business Plans: Revise plans and materials based on VC feedback.
* Investment Readiness: Assess client readiness for investment, identifying strengths and areas for improvement.
* Market Research: Keep updated on industry trends, competitors, and investor preferences.
* Performance Tracking: Monitor departmental and individual performance metrics to ensure objectives are met.
Qualifications
* Education: MBA or equivalent in Finance or related field.
* Experience: Proven financial analysis and business planning experience; investment banking experience is a plus.
* Skills: Strong analytical skills, excellent communication in English, proficiency in financial modeling tools, and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders.
