BIM Architect (3-10 years exp) – International projectsBofill Arquitectura is looking for BIM Architects to join our international architecture team in Barcelona.
Bofill Arquitectura is an internationally recognized architecture studio working on large-scale cultural, residential, hospitality, mixed‐use and urban projects across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
We are currently expanding our BIM team and are looking for BIM Architects with experience ranging from 3 to 10 years to work on major international architectural projects.
The positions are focused on projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), while the roles will be based in our Barcelona office.
Key Responsibilities
Participate as part of the architectural design and BIM project team in the development of large‐scale international projects.
Support the development of architectural projects through all design phases, with a strong focus on detailed design and construction documentation.
Develop, manage and coordinate Revit models in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams including architecture, structure, MEP and specialist consultants.
Produce high‐quality architectural documentation, drawings and BIM deliverables directly within Revit.
Ensure consistency, accuracy and coordination of project information and documentation.
Participate in model reviews, BIM coordination processes and internal quality control workflows.
Collaborate closely with BIM Managers, Project Architects and design teams to support project delivery and planning objectives.
Contribute to the implementation of BIM standards, workflows and digital methodologies across projects.
For more experienced profiles, responsibilities may also include:
Managing and coordinating BIM teams and workflows
Organizing project deliverables into sub‐tasks and planning schedules
Monitoring team progress, priorities and deadlines
Supporting BIM standards implementation and quality control processes
Coordinating directly with client BIM managers and external consultants
Profile
3 to 10 years of professional experience
Strong Revit knowledge and BIM workflow experience
Experience in architectural projects and multidisciplinary coordination
Good communication, coordination and teamwork skills
Organized, proactive and detail‐oriented profile
Ability to work in international and collaborative environments
For senior profiles, experience in BIM coordination, planning and team management is valued
Knowledge of Navisworks, ACC/BIM360, Dynamo, Grasshopper or BIM standards is valued
High level of English required
