OBJECTIVE:
The Global Operations team ensures the end-to-end operational activities to complete the investment cycle until the NAV is published The Team has gone through a transformation in the last years in where our aim is to share best practices, synergies and knowledge across all SAM units, so that the information and ways of working are homogeneous and consistent.
We are looking for an experienced Data Management Operations Analyst to manage the maintenance of the data masters (securities, portfolios, users) and other system configurations, support the Investment, Risk&Compliance and rest of Operations (such as Corporate Actions, Cash recon, Asset recon and Trade Matching & Settlement), and resolve the incidences generated at a Global level.
FUNCTIONS:
o Set up assets and portfolios in the Fund admin system and in the Front office system.
o Maintenance of the data masters in the global or local system, to ensure the proper nav calculation and operations of the system.
o Follow up the daily, weekly etc.. controls established.
o Investigate issues and attend user inquiries when they are related to the setups mentioned above.
o Monitorization and troubleshooting of incidents related to input and output data interfaces between Aladdin and other SAM internal and external systems.
o Participate in projects and enhancements of the current processes.
REQUIREMENTS:
o The ideal candidate should have a degree in Economics, Physics, Maths or Engineering. Also, a master in Capital Markets is desired.
o Needs to prove that he/she has performed data management tasks and also has been involved in the monitorization and enhancement of data interfaces and processes.
o Good knowledge of capital markets and financial products
o Knowledge of market tools as bloomberg, LSEG ..
o Highly organized and able to work to deadlines and manage competing priorities under significant time pressures.
o Proactive, strong reasoning and problem-solving skills, able to develop pragmatic solutions to complex problems.
o Confidence to lead small projects and collaborate with supervisors in larger projects
o Able to lead new members joining the team
EXPERIENCE:
Our Operations Data Management Analyst typically have track records of outstanding professional performance or academic achievement for more than 1 year, along with good knowledge of Data Management processes, analytical skills and financial skills as well as strong communication skills. Candidates should have a strong ability to work in a Global collaborative environment and to present results to both expert and non-expert audiences.
