About the Company
Salary: Up to €65,000 plus bonus
Our client is a global provider of Smart Factory and performance management software that enables manufacturers to improve efficiency, increase OEE, and drive continuous operational improvement. Their cloud-based platform is deployed across complex industrial environments and supports operations leaders seeking real-time visibility, scalable analytics, and measurable digital transformation outcomes. Continued expansion across EMEA has created a requirement for an experienced Software Implementation Consultant to join their Professional Services organisation.
The Opportunity
You will lead the end-to-end implementation of cloud-based manufacturing software for customers across Europe, managing deployments from discovery through configuration, onboarding, training, and post-go-live advisory work. The role requires structured project delivery, clear communication, and the ability to collaborate with sales, support, and product teams to ensure customers adopt solutions that meet their operational and site-level requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage full lifecycle implementation projects including requirements capture, gap analysis, deployment, configuration, training, and on-site validation.
* Maintain accurate project documentation, plans, and progress updates using internal project management tools.
* Deliver post-deployment advisory services such as Health Checks, coaching, and optimisation engagements to drive adoption and measurable value.
* Develop and update best-practice materials, deployment guides, and customer training content.
* Support pre-sales discovery sessions and contribute to proposals, scopes, project plans, and customer estimates.
* Collaborate closely with sales, customer support, and product management to resolve issues and ensure successful outcomes.
* Provide accurate inputs for billing, utilisation reporting, and Professional Services forecasting.
* Occasionally coach and support junior team members during project delivery.
About You
Essential:
* Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical discipline.
* 3+ years’ experience in software implementation, system engineering, or solutions engineering.
* Proven ability to deliver customer-facing technical projects within Professional Services or implementation teams.
* Strong communication skills with ability to work cross-functionally across technical and commercial functions.
* Understanding of manufacturing environments or exposure to plant-floor systems and operations.
* Experience working directly with customers in post-sales, onboarding, or technical support roles.
Preferred:
* Knowledge of manufacturing maintenance systems or connected factory technologies (MES, OEE, APM, SCADA, IIoT).
* Experience with ControlLogix PLCs and OPC server software.
* Familiarity with deployments in multi-site or enterprise manufacturing environments.
Why Apply
This role provides the opportunity to play a key part in delivering Smart Factory transformation across diverse European manufacturing sectors. You will join a growing global organisation, contribute to the continuous improvement of implementation practices, and directly influence the success and scalability of digital manufacturing programmes.
