We are currently looking for experienced System Safety Engineers to join our international aerospace team in our Headquarter in Getafe, Madrid.
Responsibilities
- Perform and update system safety analyses for aircraft, systems, subsystems, and ground segments
- Conduct safety assessments such as FHA, PSSA, SSA, FTA, FMEA, and PRA following ARP4761
- Identify hazards, assess risks, and support definition of risk mitigation measures
- Collaborate with design teams and system suppliers to ensure safety is integrated into system architectures
- Contribute to safety documentation, reports, and certification activities in compliance with standards such as ARP4754A, DO-178C, DO-254, and MIL-STD-882E
- Experience with autonomous systems or systems of systems will be considered a strong advantage.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in System Safety Engineering or a similar engineering role
- Master’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, Physics, or related field
- Experience performing safety analyses for complex aerospace systems
- Strong understanding of aeronautical system operations and safety considerations
- Ability to work with project-specific methods and tools in international environments
- Professional proficiency in English (Spanish and/or German are a plus depending on location)
