Qualifications and Tasks
Main Job Objectives:
* Commission control systems onsite, including electrical and PLC software commissioning, and support system testing and end-user training.
* Produce commissioning documentation such as checklists, test specifications, method statements, and risk assessments for automated solutions compliant with BS EN ISO 12100.
* Interpret electrical schematics and design input information.
* Ensure systems are CE compliant with the Machinery Directive.
* Commission safety-related parts of control system solutions according to regulations and standards such as BS EN ISO 13849 / 13850 / 60204.

* Maintain a professional image by adopting an honest, attentive approach.
* Build and maintain good relationships with internal and external customers through high-quality service.
* Collaborate with other company departments, customers, and subcontractors.
* Adhere to Dematic standards and company policies.
* Promote continuous improvement in processes to enhance project delivery in terms of time, cost, and quality.
Qualifications & Experience
* HNC or HND in Electrical/Controls Engineering.
* Hands-on experience with electrical commissioning activities.
* Experience with PLC commissioning is advantageous but not essential; development support available.
* Understanding of automated warehouses is desirable but not essential.
* Experience with PLC, HMI, or SCADA development is an advantage but not required.
* Ability to interpret electrical and electronic manuals and drawings.
* Good understanding of bus systems and distributed control systems (desirable).
* Willingness to travel up to 80% domestically and internationally; valid driver’s license required.
* Possibility to be home-based.
