The Cyber-Physical Life research group ) at the IE School of Science and Technology, IE University (Madrid, Spain) is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the day-to-day management of research activities, project administration, and event organization. This role is central to the smooth operation and growth of a dynamic, internationally-oriented research group.

We are looking for a person to join a full-time position in Madrid - IE Tower. Temporary role, two years project.
Responsibilities:
Your role as Project Coordinator (Research Group Administration) – Cyber-Physical Life (IE University, Madrid) will involve:
* Administrative & operational support
* Manage documentation, contracts, and internal procedures
* Support onboarding of researchers, students, and visitors
* Maintain internal project tracking and organizational workflows
* Event & outreach coordination
* Organize workshops, seminars, conferences, and lab events
* Coordinate logistics (venues, travel, catering, materials)
o Support communication and dissemination activities (web updates, calls, social media announcements)
* Lab coordination
* Act as a central point of contact for the research group
* Support strategic initiatives and day-to-day lab operations
* Manage social media announcements
* Organize video recordings in coordination with videographers
* Research project administration
* Support the coordination of national and international research projects
* Assist with budgets, timelines, deliverables, and compliance requirements
* Manage the purchase of lab supplies and research equipment
Qualifications:
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in administration, project management, social sciences, engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum 3 years of management experience, preferably in higher education or a comparable institutional environment.
* Experience in project coordination, or academic environments is highly valued.
* Strong organizational and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently.
* Excellent written and spoken English and Spanish.
* Proficiency with common office and project management tools.
