* The main accountability of the Supply Chain Manager Spain & Portugal is the daily supply chain execution in the country:
o Manage and Coordinate operational service center activities of in the Country
o Support for IFCO internal and external customers and Logistics Key point of contact
o Identify and drive process improvements related to service centers
o Support supply chain director in tender processes and analysis of service centre costs and network optimization.
o Identify and develop relationship with different providers for operations and to bring new efficiency with the local logistic manager.
* The incumbent is responsible to support
o The Implementation of lean and standardized processes across the supply chain teams in the country and the network defined by the central / regional function
o The implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs ) as defined by the central/regional function for both service centers and logistics
o The Fostering of a culture of Zero Harm
o The development of new strategies designed to long-term reduce costs, CO2 emissions and improve customer service in the region
o The implementation of a country-wide productivity and service level system (KPI dashboard) to monitor the performance of all transport providers and service center operators
o The implementation of best practices as defined by central/regional functions
* The incumbent has to ensure the:
o Compliance with legal requirements in the country, especially regarding the transport of products which come into contact with food
o Compliance with workers health & safety regulations, food safety regulations, employment regulations and corporate policies and enforcing corrective actions in case of non-compliance
o That wash-, transport, storage-Capacity and quality meets IFCO internal standards & requirements
o Conformance to operational KPIs and maintain a focus on stable operations and operational consistency.
* The incumbent has to:
o Effectively develop 3rd party relationships with a continuous focus on reducing costs through cooperative initiatives, improving processes and amicable business negotiations
o Work cross-functionally with the regional Supply chain leads, Customer Service teams in the country and Country Managers
