Interim Packaging Manager (Spanish-Speaking) – 2-Month Contract
Location: Salas, Spain
Rate: Up to €100 per hour
Duration: Up to 2 months (immediate start preferred)
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Packaging Manager to support a factory start-up phase in Salas, Spain. This is a short-term contract role requiring strong operational expertise and the ability to guide and support on-site teams during a critical ramp-up period.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide hands-on leadership and technical support across packaging operations
* Guide and support the local supervisor and team in running packaging lines efficiently
* Oversee and optimise the operation of:
* 4 case packers
* 7 flow packers
* 1 cup filler
* 2 palletisers
* Ensure smooth coordination of staff and machinery during the start-up phase
* Troubleshoot operational issues and implement practical solutions quickly
* Support process organisation, workflow efficiency, and team capability building
Requirements:
* Proven experience in packaging operations within a manufacturing or FMCG environment
* Strong hands-on knowledge of packaging machinery and line management
* Experience working in start-up or scale-up factory environments is highly desirable
* Ability to lead, coach, and support supervisors and operational teams
* Basic Spanish language skills required
* Must be available on-site in Salas, Spain for the duration of the contract
