Purpose of the role:
The regional IT engineer oversees all Trivium locations within their respective region. They serve as the first point of contact for all local user questions related to IT and OT, providing support, assisting users, supporting business processes, and delivering IT services according to company policies and guidelines. The role also involves collaboration with central infrastructure, application, and security teams. Additionally, the Senior Engineer contributes to and advocates for the Trivium Enterprise Architecture and Information Security principles.
Your responsibilities include:
* Providing first and second level support and continuous improvement of IT and OT services.
* Serving as a single point of contact for multiple locations and users.
* Monitoring and maintaining computer systems.
* Supporting the deployment of onsite IT projects.
* Troubleshooting issues and coordinating remediation activities as needed.
* Acting as the key communication link between regional users/locations and other IT functions.
Ideal candidate profile:
* Over 3 years of relevant industry experience, especially in manufacturing environments.
* Experience with IT ticketing systems like ServiceNow is preferred.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a global team.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize under pressure.
* Advanced degree (e.G., Master’s) with an excellent academic record;
relevant domain certifications.
* Background in IT/OT, Security, and Solution Engineering in enterprise settings.
* Proficiency in English and Spanish, both verbal and written.
* Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills.
* Experience in requirements management and development.
* Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region when required.
