For our Barcelona office, we are seeking a Business Developer (English, Swedish/Norwegian/Danish) to join the Worldwide and Development department. The role involves growing our indirect global network and reports to the Region Director.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
* Manage lead generation activities, enhancing existing sources (LinkedIn, Google Ads, and other online marketing channels) and proactively identifying new ones.
* Present the MBE business opportunity to potential Master Franchisees and support negotiations to finalize franchising contracts.
* Negotiate and develop agreements with suppliers.
* Support the start-up operations of new Master Franchisees.
* Assist the existing Master franchisee community in developing and supporting their network.
* Maintain MBE guidelines and strategies to uphold the standards of MBE’s products and services.
* Organize and coordinate company events, international meetings, and conventions.
* Support translation and proofreading of materials in Nordic languages and occasionally serve as an interpreter during meetings.
Skills and experiences:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field, with a strong academic record.
* At least two years of relevant experience in sales and lead development.
* International exposure (e.g., exchange or language programs) and internship experience in sales.
* Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English and a native Nordic language; additional languages like Spanish or Italian are advantageous.
* Strong communication skills, ambition, and ability to build relationships with internal and external partners.
* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint), Google Suite, and other productivity tools.
* Advanced skills in MS Excel, with a strong ability to analyze data and solve problems.
* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
* A people-oriented attitude and team spirit.
* Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and explore new opportunities.
