In this role you will oversee the Barcelona studio’s finance and accounting operations, ensuring accurate reporting, budget control, and compliance with local and group standards. You’ll partner with Production, HR, and global Finance teams to deliver reliable insights for decision-making. The position combines people leadership with process optimization across accounting, budgeting, and reporting, within a dynamic creative environment. You’ll work on funding programs and data-driven analyses to support strategic priorities.

• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and monthly closings
• Coordinate budgets and forecasts with variance analysis
• Produce monthly financial reports for local management and HQ
• Ensure compliance with local standards, tax regulations, and group policies
• Monitor project budgets and financial tracking
• Coordinate internal and external audits as main financial contact
• Drive continuous improvement of financial processes and controls
• Manage the finance and accounting team
• Advise on compliance with Spanish financial and legal requirements related to R&D subventions and grants
• Handle documentation/reporting for public funding programs
• Possibly support Vantage Finance reporting cross-functionally
• Leverage data-driven approaches to build BI reports for stakeholders
Responsabilidades
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; professional certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred
• Knowledge of IFRS and Spanish accounting standards
• Understanding of Spanish tax regulations and compliance requirements
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Outstanding communication xpzdshu and leadership skills
• Fluency in English and Spanish, or willingness to learn Spanish
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
• Experience in implementing and improving financial processes and controls
• Strong proficiency in Excel and financial management tools
• Located or willing to relocate in Barcelona
